Who Can Participate?
EPS trainings are open to all early childhood educators throughout the state. Educators can participate in trainings within, or outside their geographic region. To be eligible, all educators must meet the following criteria:
- Operate, or work in a licensed, or license-exempt early education and care or out-of-school time program. (i.e., group child care, family child care, school age child care or Head Start program)
- All educators must be included in the Professional Qualifications Registry to participate in professional development supported by the EPS grant and have an active PQ number. To register, go to EEC's Professional Qualification Registry. PQ REGISTRY
Through the registration process, priority will be given to programs serving more than 50% subsidized children, followed by those serving less than 50%, and finally those not serving subsidized children.
